Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke was born March 22nd, 1989 in Newport Beach California United States. She is one of the most famous and wealthy pole vaulters. The photo she posted of herself in a track event for 17 year olds went viral in 2007 and led her to become an Olympic pole vaulter. Instagram and Twitter have helped her build a huge social media followers. Stokke is a track and field player like Jessica Ennis Hill. It was noted by the Los Angeles Times among others that Stokke was not seeking or advocate for such attention. Both were alleged to have been sexually assaulted and the public image of them was presented in a manner the authors claimed de-emphasized the accomplishments of the athletes. In their book Technology Cultural Power in the Network Societies David Rowe and Brett Hutchins have compared Stokke with soccer players from America like Alex Morgan and Hope Solo who were fetishized. The authors also stated that social media are frequently insensitive. Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's appearance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup celebrations sporting a sports bra where the accomplishments of women were largely ignored by discussions over their appearance. Stokke was photographed at New York by a Californian reporter working for an online track and event website at the beginning of 2007. In May, the photo was republished on With Leather a sports blog that has a huge male audience remarking on the attractiveness of the 17-year-old Stokke under the headline Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford had threatened to sue the photographer for not removing the image. However, the news story had already widely circulated and had been receiving a lot of attention. Stokke owned a website specifically dedicated to her, with photos showing her in the pole-vault. As these photos spread over social media they attracted many thousands of people. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She was determined to finish her Florida High School. Alyce decided in 1974 that she would make a career change by taking on an internship. Alyce is proud to be the sister of an academic professor. The family of her mother is very in support of her sister, who works as an instructor at a college. Her family is located in Texas since her father is employed in the U.S. Army. Within three years the family celebrated dad's 92nd birthday. Alyce posted a photo of her beautiful daughter on social media to acknowledge his contributions towards and the U.S. Army. Her daughter, who is more interested in education than her father and won the university's merit scholarships in 2020, also shows more desire to attend school.
