Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They grew in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone became interested in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion in Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the direction of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the elite gymnastics in the year 2011. Within two years she had been the best in this particular discipline. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of challenge in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her apart.
