Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her siblings include three. As a teenager, she was a singer who performed in clubs, escaping from home in order to perform. She studied acting from when she was 13 years old at Wooster School.
