Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa is the former vocalist in The Canadian metalcore group The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish metal group melodic death Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 1984) is an Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous as the vocalist in charge of the Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy, and former singer-songwriter and founder of the Canadian metalcore band the Agonist. Both growling vocals and singing (clean vocals) make up her unique vocal style. However, she's mainly a part of Metalcore and melodic death metal, she has appeared as the guest vocalist of power metal, symphonic music and deathcore, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live alongside Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz was part of the band Agonist which was formerly called "Tempest" and was based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada, from 2004 to 2014. White-Gluz released three albums with them as lead vocalist. White Gluz quit the Agonist following an offer to sing with Arch Enemy in 2014.
